Tutaonana from Dar es Salaam

Tags biked Dar es Salaam cycled Kenya Tanzania cycle tour Posted on 12/08/2013 by Baz and Gemma & Joseph

We biked through Dar es Salaam yesterday in time to get to Kipepeo Beach in time for Ali and Becs to have at least four swims in the Indian Ocean... (the Indian Ocean is a tad warmer than the South Pacific Ocean on New Zealand's South Coast).  Harper had just two swims, but cycled over 52km the day before - not bad for a nine year old!  It has been great to witness the locals in their finest and celebrating Eid al Fitr (the end of Ramadan) over the last couple of days; a fantastic end to a Kenya & Tanzania cycle tour with two wonderful families.  Tutaonana Harper, Katherine, Michael, Jenny, Ali & Becs from Baz, Gemma & Joseph
